I can imagine, too, on probably less overcast days you can see for dozens of kilometers.

Anyway, after departing Pittsburgh Bay Point Transfer, EBART runs exclusively in a highway median for the entire length of its revenue run.

This is not exactly the most overwhelmingly scenic DMU that I have encountered, but I do kind of like the paint job.
S

Because this is all a highway, I actually ended up traipsing through a few homeless encampments.

Say that for ridership reasons only half of the trains continued from Pittsburgh Center, what the center turnback track allows is for DMUs to get off the main line, pause for a few moments, and then reverse direction in order to have a short turn.

Again, even though they are not very common on DMU systems, they are generally very important and rather common on most forms of rail transit.

My question is, So Median Strip from Waldorf Nursery on Carinap Road right there to Alexander Drive on Morley Drive has got a number of dead trees that have been dead for a long, long time.
N
25:33NickAUDIENCE
I'm just wondering why aren't they removed? They just keep dropping dead debris on the road.
N
25:39NickAUDIENCE
They're not going to get any greener.

There are a lot of big trees, actually, because I drive down there a bit.

Yeah, there are, and we always try and retain them where we can, and that's why, and again, I'm struggling with the timeframe, Jamie, but it was rather recently, or my memory, it could have been last year, but yeah, it did come back saying, no, the trees are healthy, there was some minor pruning required.
