In Yemen, Al-Arabiya reported that a weapons depot in the Houthi-controlled capital Sana'a was bombed Tuesday.

The Saudi-led coalition said a drone was intercepted over the Holy Province of Mecca Tuesday, but the Houthis again denied they had targeted the area.

The Houthis said Tuesday that Saudi strikes left two civilians dead in the embattled Taiz province in the southwest.

Taiz city is currently besieged by the Houthis, and the UN on Monday urged parties to open roads in the area to allow for urgent aid deliveries.

A coalition spokesperson said the missile was launched toward the southern region.

Drones were also intercepted over Riyadh, Medina, the Eastern Province and the Makkah region.

In Yemen, the armed forces said the Houthi militia targeted Aden airport and Mashik Palace with ballistic missiles on Friday.

A military spokesperson accused the group of targeting national infrastructure and said Yemeni forces carried out over 1,000 attacks on Houthi positions.

Meanwhile, more than 800,000 people in and around the besieged city of Taiz remained cut off from aid deliveries.

In Saudi Arabia, a Saudi-led coalition said on Friday it intercepted and destroyed a drone in the Makkah region.

The coalition stated the drone was launched by the terrorist Houthi militia.

The Iran-backed militia has for weeks targeted infrastructure and cities across the kingdom.
