McLeod County

So what we're gonna do, or what Rice Companies is gonna do, the general contractor for the data center, um, is they're gonna relocate our Elm site to, um, kinda north of their offices out on 11th Street.

Um, if you're familiar with, like, the Glencoe Port building, the USDA building out on 11th Street, McLeod County Co-op, kinda in that neck of the woods.

There's a empty lot.

They're going to, uh, make a, a road in there, gravel road in there.

Plus the kids KDUZ.

And, uh, the fastest way to create power really is through s- renewable, 'cause it's one of your quickest build-outs, uh, to create power.

Not, not that I'm advocating one way or the other, that's just the reality of it.

So we are seeing, w- you know, McLeod County specifically, we're not a very big county, 504 square miles, so it's not very large county in comparison to some.

But, um, you know, we have two projects that I'm aware of that they've approached me on, um, asking, you know ...

We had over 200 people in Glencoe, Minnesota.

That's McLeod County.

Little Falls, Minnesota, which is Morrison County, we had 150 there.

Glenwood, we had 175.

I also had a chance to catch up with the president of the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association, Ryan Lockinson.

He farms in McLeod County.

We are visiting at the Big Iron Farm Show in the Red River Valley in West Fargo, North Dakota.

And you came up this morning.

We're getting them cooler nights again, so that's kind of nice.

It must be fall.

But in my area, we've had some very timely rains in McLeod County, and we're sitting in a really good spot right now.
