It's called McKees Rocks.

McKees Rocks is a small little community on the Allegheny River here in southwestern land before time, Pennsylvania.

It's Pittsburgh.

And it's a nice community.

And now Notre Dame wants timeout.

Now back to live action, back to the action at Notre Dame Stadium, and being helped off the field is Pittsburgh quarterback Bill Daniels, badly shaken up as he tried to run a pass pattern on a trick play.

And Bob Medwid, a senior from McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, the hometown of Tom Clements, comes into quarterback Pitt, as Daniels, the Pitt starting quarterback, is helped off the field by two men after being hit by Steve Niehaus of Notre Dame.

Don, I can remember years ago, this goes back quite a while, when a quarterback in a T formation was an ineligible pass receiver.

That pass in 1954, say 20 years ago, would've been an illegal play had the quarterback caught the ball.

That stops the clock with 11 seconds to play.

It'll be second and 15 for Pittsburgh.

The intended receiver was Bruce Murphy, as Medwid, the Pittsburgh quarterback from the same hometown as Notre Dame quarterback Tom Clements, McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, had to trigger the ball very quickly against the big Notre Dame rush.

The strike of the WFM in October 1907 took place during a panic and destroyed the organization's control in that district.

The employers were forced to come and see the union's committees.

Beginning in July 1909 at McKee's Rocks, Pennsylvania, 8,000 workers of the Pressed Steel Car Company, embracing 16 different nationalities, waged the most important struggle that the IWW took part in to that date.

The strike lasted 11 weeks.

As usual, the employers resorted to the use of the Pennsylvania State Constabulary, known as the American Cossacks, to intimidate the strikers and browbeat them back to work.

Every strike in Pennsylvania since the institution of the constabulary has been broken or crippled by them.

Men, women, and children have been killed and brutally maimed by them with impunity.

Their advent upon the scene in McKee's Rocks was marked by the usual campaign of brutality.

Finally, one of the Cossacks killed a striker.
