Couldn't they have found another arena somewhere in Atlanta to play? Georgia Tech's arena? What was wrong with Georgia Tech's arena? Downtown Atlanta.

The Thriller Dome seats like 15,000, something like that, 16,000? but you'll get the game, and they'll have plenty of time to redo the floor and clean out everybody.

What if there's a big celebration? The game ends at 2.30, 3 o'clock, and then you got the champs if Golden State wins, and there's a big celebration, and there's a trophy.

What are they going to do? Move that to the YMCA down the block? They're going to usher them off the court because the Hawks got to play the Cavs tonight.

I don't see why Georgia Tech couldn't have been a suitable option.

Georgia Tech, McCamish is fine.

Now, the place in College Park, I go there a lot for competitive cheerleading because my daughter's a competitive cheerleader.

It's a small venue.

The volleyball team was coming off two great wins.

They were coming into a weekend where they had two matches in McCamish Pavilion facing two ranked SEC, SEC, ACC opponents.

My apologies to ACC opponents that they were going to play.

They were playing Pitt and they were playing SMU.

It's so beautiful to witness and not even just like watching it being there too.

I remember when Dream Games were at McCamish Pavilion, which is Georgia Tech's arena.

I remember, you know, the games being at State Farm Arena.

And I took a moment just, I've been trying to be a little bit more present in life with everything.

Still, initial talks to move the Finals games were unsuccessful before Tuesday because of a scheduling conflict with a concert and two Hawks games.

The Dream attempted to explore other venue options in the Atlanta area, such as the Gas South Arena, which has up to 13,000 seats, and Georgia Tech's McCamish Pavilion, with 8,600 seats.

Those efforts hit a roadblock.

On October 6th, the Dream announced they were going to call State Farm Arena home next year.

They can't use Georgia Tech?

They can't use McCamish.

Again, I have to imagine McCamish Pavilion has gotta be similar-

Can you get into McCamish?

So we have, uh, the Gas South Arena, um, which is, uh, taken because of other things that are happening.

Uh, McCamish Pavilion at Georgia Tech, that also, um, is, uh, is a, is a arena that will be used during that time.

And so, unfortunately, those options don't work.

Random fact, did y'all know that, um, for I believe two seasons, uh, the Atlanta Dream played at McCamish, uh, Pavilion at Georgia Tech? But anyway, those options don't work.
