Because now through these rituals, she's taken on a new identity as, you know, the May Queen.

And so it's almost like, yeah, they satisfied the queen.

They satisfied the God.

And so I think this like ritualistic, these different patterns of rituals that are being done while horrifying, she's slowly like integrating herself.

Into these.

And I think there's a way of like metaphorically viewing that as like these building blocks to then her identity, not a fisherman, but Queen May or the May Queen.

Yeah.

Today, May Day traditions are observed throughout North America and European countries.

Some of the best-known traditions for the modern-day May Day include dancing around the Maypole, a tall wooden pole with flowers and or ribbons, The crowning of the May Queen, a young girl is selected to lead the May Day parade and is dressed all in white, dancing around the Maypole to celebrate the springtime and youth.

Some less famous traditions include children leaving May baskets, small baskets of sweet treats and flowers, on neighbors' doorsteps anonymously.

And here are some ways that you can actually celebrate May Day.
