The agent says goodbye to Goodnight and begins the grueling 120-mile drive across the south coast of Jamaica.

He drives through Spanish Town, May Pen, and Black River, all the way to the dusty town of Savannah La Mar.

He parks the Sunbeam Alpine and walks down to the waterfront to physically locate the address from the message 312 lane.

And we must pause to highlight the absolute jarring contrast here.

Um, and a couple other peop- the, The Diamonds did, "Who you gonna bodyguard, Mr. Bodyguard?" When Rodigan's playing, you know, who's gonna bodyguard Mr.

But Ascot really have no shame at all, and little by little him start hang round the kitchen again when Papa not there, and Mama would feed him till finally him round the house almost as often as before.

Anyway, my big brother Kenny did come up from May Pen one Sunday, and Ascot come up to him when Papa back turn and ask if he couldn't give him a job as gardener.

And as Kenny didn't know about the banana, he must be the only person Papa forget to tell.

Kenny say, "All right," and although Papa warn Kenny that him talking up trouble, Mama say that at heart Ascot is really a decent, honest boy, and all he need is little opportunity.
