I reviewed, gave feedback, and then approved the theater standee for all theaters.

I am producing two content days this week with my husband and my production company, Maximum Effort, to grab more PR and marketing materials with eight cast members and two producers and the author for release.

I've had calls with the international team to help adjust the release schedule by territory and led the conversation about adding on international press stops and tour dates given the success of the response of the film and materials thus far.

I've led the conversation to get started on a China cut in an effort to be accepted for release there, and we'll have a Zoom with the decision makers for release in China in the coming weeks.

Limewire, the once-illegal file-sharing service that was making an attempt at going legit.

The next most serious bid came from a company called Maximum Effort, and that was an agency owned by actor Ryan Reynolds.

And he's probably happy he didn't win.

As for Limewire, they had no intention of staging a festival.

Well, so his early stuff was, I think the first business venture he had, I mean i- I'm not the Ryan Reynolds biographer, but I think the first thing was Maximum Effort, which was the advertising agency, uh, that he started, which was a s- it was kind of spun out of the work that they did, uh, promoting, um... [lips smack] Oh, what's that movie? Uh, what, what's the character? Deadpool.

Deadpool.

Yeah.

All the pieces are there, but it's not quite, it doesn't quite get there, and it doesn't seem to get there for any reason other than they didn't polish it enough, and they didn't, they didn't put in enough effort.

Which is ironic because Ryan Reynolds' production company is called Maximum Effort, and that was not on display here.

I saw Maximum Effort, and it reminded me of Deadpool, and I completely forgot Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool in Maximum Effort.
