I don't care if you're a freshman like Kevin Thomas or Maximo Adams, who's just coming in, a freshman like Maloy Smith, who's been around it his entire life, an international player like Siam Keita or Alexandros Samadurof, that may or may not know a ton about Carolina basketball already, to any of the transfers, Angelo Breezy coming in, Neil Abdallas, any of those guys, Matt Abel.

And h- however much they did or didn't know about this program, how can you not sit there and not be moved? I don't know.

I love it.

I would be trying to drill that in to say like, "We have something built here that we believe in, and we think you can trust your teammates." You got Matt Abel in the corner now spa- spacing you.

Or you got him, you got him on the wing, and you have Maximo Adams in the corner.

Like, these dudes can knock down jumpers.

You don't have James Okongwo catching lobs anymore.

Alexander Samudarov, I believe, can do that.

Maximo Adams, I believe, can do that.

So there's just a lot of pieces on this team that can operate in several roles.

And I think that that kind of speaks to why I think the ceiling is really high for this team.

Hopefully Malone gets us right.

And so we want Cameron to be part of this because he's critical.

Defending is going to be the most important thing for me.

What's interesting about it is you think about the mix of players that Coach Malone has brought together and everything they bring.

There's a lot of different types of versatility, whether it's Maximo Adams as a 4-3-3-4.

He identified that by the way we've been discussing it, so I was glad to hear Coach Malone confirm that.

Now we move into the juniors, or should I say the junior? Because there is only one of them that will be in the rotation, and that's Alexandro Samadurov.

And that's also another layer to all this is that simultaneously it improved the starting center position while, you know, improving the depth as well.

And so North Carolina's bench would have, would have, you know, included Sanketa, Alexander Samandrov, Maximo Adams, Angela Brizzi, Kevin Thomas.

It would have been a very deep group.

Now it's still a relatively deep group, but it does take a hit with what transpired this past weekend for North Carolina in terms of how they can respond to Again, I really don't think there's much that they can do.
