i don't think it quite gets as intense as david's stuff but it's it's definitely thought provoking there's obviously elements of the streets in there and underworld and that's all good with me you know

yeah i think this album is specifically kind of about the pressure he felt to make a second album so there's a lot of um how would you say a lot of references to you know creating something that's gonna last forever and all this kind of stuff it's I think if you're a man of a certain age or a lady of a certain age and used to really be into music and hip hop and stuff and you've kind of checked out along the way somewhere because you've had a pile of kids or you have had several promotions and you're kind of looking at the charts or whatever and you're going I haven't got a fucking clue who any of this shit is if you're looking for a good way to get back in i think this is a gateway album for the modern hip-hop spoken word arena that's out there right now because this is an artist who's taking his cues from frank skinner from Maxi Jazz.

There's even a bit of Neil Tennant about some of the songs.

He's talking about career progress, stalling careers, various different things like that.

You knew there was going to be an amazing crowd.

You knew crowd was very grateful for the fact you were there you get the opportunity opportunity to present your new single or new album or whatever and i remember always looking forward to that event like months beforehand it was crazy and that one year we opened together with milk ink and silver and the the we did insomnia by faithless and we got maxi jazz to actually announce us and that was That's still a video, if I watch it, gives me goosebumps every time.

Because that

was very cool.

And, you know, I get that love all over the world and I'm thankful for it.

But, you know, that's, it's indescribable.

That for me was, and then of course the TMF Awards with Maxi Jazz.
