If I had it to do again, I'd do exactly as I did.

Admiral, how do Trump's comments land with you when you compare the situation in Iran with what we found ourselves in after 9-11?

Our nation occasionally goes through isolationist periods, where the attitude is, "We've got too many problems at home, therefore, who cares what happens overseas?" Which, uh, r- really means to me they just don't pay attention to the lesson of 9/11, because what happens overseas matter to our national security at home.

Joining me now, Max Rose.

He's a former New York congressman, the first post-9/11 combat veteran to represent New York City in Congress.

Good morning.

But we also think about the veterans and the service members and the decades-long conflict.

And there's gonna be a series of events in and around Ground Zero over the coming days, where cops and firemen will remember those who, uh, served heroically on that day, and they'll be joined by veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, sharing in many ways what a, what was a shared fight and shared sacrifice.

Neyera, what is your read on this conflict now that we are officially six months in?

Well, it certainly wasn't quickly done in four days, not in a few weeks.

He says the anti-woke movement has taken all the excesses of wokeness, absorbed it into the Republican Party, and weaponized it into the worst and most repressive administration for free speech since Woodrow Wilson arrested and prosecuted thousands of political opponents during World War I.

Well, you know, look, if you go back and you look at woke one, which Andrea Ocasio-Cortez referred to as crazy, but sometimes it was worse than crazy.

That's according to a new national survey.
