You know, more recently, Max Kepler was sort of in that role.

Even after acquiring Lars Nutbar at the deadline, the D-backs have still had room for another left-handed batter in the roster, in the lineup.

They've been a batter short against righties the entire season.

It's been insane.

Dating back to September 4th, the diamondbacks have made 12, uh, transactions starting on September 4th when Tommy Troy was reinstated from the 10-day IL and Jorge Barroso was designated for assignment two days later they recalled Adrian Del Castillo from AAA Reno and they designated Max Kepler for assignment two days later after that they reinstated Corbin Burns from the 60-day IL and called up Cade Stroud from Reno they optioned Gerardo Carrillo and Jose Cabrera down to the aces And then one day later, they optioned Walston and Stroud back to AAA and called up Michael Soroka and Zach Gallin.

What are your feelings, Damon, overall on, you know, this roster essentially now being at 100%? I feel like we're still in a similar position where you almost wish there was more players that were position players on that IL that were returning that could help this offense get kick-started than just Corbin Carroll.

And not to say Corbin isn't a huge addition to come back, but that's with the caveat that he is swinging the bat better and able to help this offense.

And he has, he has left hamstring discomfort.

Uh, for Arizona, Max Kepler has been designated for assignment.

And for Milwaukee, Grant Anderson's been placed on the 15-day IL, right bicep inflammation.

The D-backs DFA'd Max Kepler, which I think is good news for Ryan Waltz, but potentially good news for Jordan Lawler as well.

Lawler unfortunately still not playing against every right-handed pitcher, which is annoying.

The Yankees optioned Elmer Rodriguez back to triple A, which means Will Warren should start on, I believe, Wednesday against the Rockies here.

And then ADC was recalled from Reno to take his place.

So no longer have to deal with good old Max Kepler.

I'm not sure what kind of blackmail he was using, but I feel like they gave him some pity at bats the last two games in Games 1 and Games 2 before they knew they were going to get rid of him.

So that was the roster move made before the game.

A very well-played series, a well-managed series as well.

So once again, you've got to give Torrey the props he deserves for how he calls upon guys, when he's been calling upon guys, certain pinch hits and all that.

Outside of letting Max Kepler start the last two days, that's the only issue I had with Torrey this week.

But maybe that was Mike Kazin going, hey man, we're getting rid of him Sunday morning.
