Max Johnson

Quickly, let's go over the stats from some of these guys.

Max Johnson was fantastic.

A very efficient... 36 out of 47 for 318 yards.

I mean, a little bit of Dinkin' and Dunkin'.

It was already decided.

Um, Lee Baker was okay.

10 out of 16, 167 yards, but three touchdowns, right? I mean, that's, you know, that's a good ball game, right? And it wasn't like Max Johnson, uh, You know, what, 36 out of 47 for 300 yards and three touchdowns.

All right.

But you've got a veteran.

at quarterback for Georgia Southern to Max Johnson, a guy who was at LSU at North Carolina, legitimately Tommy Boy, seven years of college, and he's not a doctor somehow.

And I like that they have a veteran presence in this matchup against App State, where I think App State's going to be feeling themselves.

Really positive, coming off the win, going to Paulson Stadium where that place is going to be rocking in Statesboro, Georgia.

They beat Old Dominion by eight.

So Max Johnson, their quarterback, he got injured.

So it's questionable whether he's going to play this weekend or not.

So that could have some effect on this game.

And Georgia Southern is a 5.5 point favorite in this one.

That tells me everything I need to know.

Also, Max Johnson officially got a probable tag for Saturday, so it looks like he is going to go.

11 touchdowns, just two interceptions.

Will Malachi Singleton is doing this.

Max Johnson is doing this.

They run a 4-2-5.

We run a 4-3, blah, blah, blah.

Um, yeah, I mean, yeah, I, yeah, I do.

Um, I think if they, I mean, I think, I think in this day and age, honestly, I think experience trumps, I don't want to say it trumps everything, but experience matters.

If you have a quarterback that, you know, is a 25, 25 year old, I'm pretty sure Max Johnson, I'm pretty sure he graduated high school in 2019.

I'm pretty sure.

It is up to five and a half.

Very interesting, all right? And we think Max Johnson is playing, all right? That was the...

Question going into the week, but I think he's healthy and he is going to play.

So, the two big ball games, which will be post-game show after La Tech and South Alabama.

I still don't get it.

Max Johnson, you guys remember Max Johnson, right? Max Johnson is the Georgia Southern quarterback.

He was, earlier this week, listed as probable quarterback.

I think App State has the better quarterback in Malachi Singleton.

All right, you're pumping up your quarterbacks there, but you lead the Sunbelt with 41 receptions, and yet you're goose egg into the end zone.

What are we going to have to do to get Max Johnson and Turner Helton to give you a touchdown pass? I mean, what is going on? How can you lead the entire conference in receptions but not have scored a touchdown? I do not understand that.

They got something personal with you.

Here's the thing.
