Um, uh, but they did and rather than them engaging in a prolonged feud, which would keep them both on TV and involved in a high profile way, like this feud barely happened, and it was a blow-off.

The blow-off happened during the, the pre-show of a pay-per-view where Anthony Bowens answered one of Max Caster's, uh, open challenges and beat him in like a minute and a half, and that was it.

But it's been so amazing now that he's back in wrestling, and I, I mean, his current run in WWE and what he did in AEW, he's worked with so many talent that aren't right there at the top of the heap either.

And it's been cool to see that he gives these moments to these wrestlers, like the work he's been doing on house shows with guys like Ricky Saints, or when you look, like, way back here in his work in AEW, he was having matches with, like, Dax Harwood, or Max Caster, or John Silva, or Daniel Garcia.

Like, there were so many of these matches where you're like, just cool to see that there's, like...

It doesn't have to be this storyline that's built up for weeks and weeks or months and months for CM Punk to have a match.

As of now, the deal has not been extended and Fightful has not learned if those talks have started.

Uh, Fightful also reported recently that Bowens' former tag team partner Max Caster could see his contract also expire on October 1st.

So that's interesting, Jason, with both of them possibly expiring on the same date.

If AEW and Tony Khan does not bring them back, especially with that tag team division, I don't know why you wouldn't want to add another s- you know, solid tag team, former tag team champions.

... uh, but that's been the report, why wouldn't you wanna bring them in?

You would think they would love someone like Max Caster.

Now Caster has gotten himself into some hot water sometimes with some of his raps on his way to the ring.

I thought he showed something tonight, but Eric, we'll see.

Yeah, I mean, they're going to give him – they're going to give Pillman a match on Friday at Rampage, a singles match versus Max Caster.

So Max will pay his penance by doing a presumably clean job on national television to Pillman.

And then he's built up for that Grand Slam match.

But, you know, Ruby was definitely, you know, the crowd was on their feet for her.

Of the two, the crowd still loves Britt the most, but Ruby definitely had a lot of goodwill from the fans in both of the matches tonight.

And then it looks like Brian Pillman Jr. was going to take on Max Caster.

Yeah, we left right when that was getting started.

But the AEW roster has such a rich tag team division right now that if they worked nowhere else, they would still have plenty of teams to work with.

Now speaking of contracts, we have some contract news on the former acclaimed Anthony Bowens and Max Caster.

Anthony Bowens specifically, his AEW contract is reportedly set to expire very soon.

This according to Fightful on Tuesday.

Bowens' contract is set to expire on October 1st.

Says the report comes a little under a month after Fightful also reported that Bowens' longtime partner in the acclaimed Max Caster's deal was set to expire around October as well.

Fightful reports that they have not learned if discussions on a new deal have begun.

Bowens has been wrestling as part of the Ops, and he has r- he did wrestle on the all-in buy-in at Wembley Stadium last Sunday where he, Action Andretti, Hook, and Katsuyori Shibata lost to Lio Rush and the Rascals.

Do you think we'll get an Uno reverse in tag teams with New Level being in AW and The Acclaimed possibly in WWE? Yeah, Bowens is apparently on his way out.

Yeah, Bowens might go, but Max Caster is not

The ideas of Caster and Enzo would be great in AEW or GCW, but WWE...
