Maverick

Look, I love some Westerns and I don't like some Westerns.

I mean, just like with any type of movie, I've realized there's a bunch of movies that are Westerns that, like, I l- like Maverick with Mel Gibson.

2016.

You know.

You like Maverick with Mel Gibson.

Just, like, there's a bunch of movies that are kind of Westerns that I never really realized were Westerns.

Mm-hmm.

great action buddy cop movies.

He did Maverick again, which lest we say about someone else.

But also Margot Kidder also in Maverick.

I don't know.

I've never seen

Maverick.

Oh, it's good.

It's good.

Mission Impossible, 1996.

Maverick, 1994.

Oh, Maverick is...

That's a very enjoyable film.

I would not have made my list, but that's a very enjoyable film.

Yes.

I, my favorite James Garner role is actually, um, him and Mel Gibson in the western, um, Maverick.

Yeah.

The Maverick?

I think that...

Well, he was in, uh...

Yeah.

And then they did the movie-

is.

I just know him from Maverick with Mel Gibson.

He was a tall, dark stranger there.

That's how the song goes.

I think my favorite live action swashbuckler is going to have to be Damasco Zorro just because it is so perfect.

I almost want to throw an audible and say Maverick 1995, which is one of my favorite movies of all time.

That is, I think, the rare case where Westerns don't always lend themselves well to swashbuckling.

But in this scenario, it is much more of a swashbuckling adventure because Brett Maverick is a gambler who goes like town to town.
