Maverick County

There were a lot of people, um, that didn't like, uh, where, uh, the, the state of the conditions along the border.

If you recall, Eagle Pass and Maverick County were at the tipping point, uh, the tip of the spear as, as it's said, you know, with 10,000 to 12,000 people crossing daily, um, through the river.

And so it was unsustainable.

Something needed to happen.

We survived.

Um, and we always generate.

In Maverick County where people have known me, you know, I usually get a, a close to 70% of the vote.

I knew this last election that there was something going on because we ended up with, I believe, like 63% of the vote when, when the tallies were coming in for Eagle Pass and Maverick County.
