They lived on the island of Mauritius and probably just their, like, seclusion on this island made them get so incredibly different from most other pigeons.

... with travel.co.za and the Holiday Factory, we had this really cool idea, but I wasn't entirely sure how it was gonna play out.

I, I, ultimately, we were gonna take two people we'd never met before to Mauritius to go play golf, so this could've gone badly.

... um, there was a second guy on the list who also had, like a personal issue, and then the third guy was like, "You being serious?" [laughs] He didn't quite believe the fact that he won this competition.

And then, and then w- when we actually, w- when we got to Mauritius, he was telling me, "Yeah, like none of my friends thought this was real.

Everyone thought this was a scam." [laughs]

There'll be a second qualifying round to get to the group stage.

Among the highlights last weekend, debutants from Mauritius, La Cua Waves, produced a notable performance, holding South Africa's Orlando Pirates to a goalless draw, although it will be very tough in the second leg this weekend.

The 2025 champions, Pyramids of Egypt, have beat Kenyan champions Gourmahia 2-0 in Nairobi.

and five-time champions T.P. Mezembe of DR Congo had a good away victory, beating Ghana's Mediyama by a goal to nil.

One of my good friends, Pastor Steve Lassie, the next photo, taking over the Kalgoorlie church, getting it full time, then going to Pakistan with him and his very, very, very white kids.

I was in the Persian Gulf for about four or five months, protecting the no-fly zone after the Gulf War.

We did Mauritius, Hong Kong, Singapore, Guam, Philippines.

We got to see a lot of amazing places.

Not only having that discipline from the Navy, but getting to taste other flavor profiles and different food from different countries.
