Then Eddie comes out and says, "Oh wow, he did a lie." He, he called up T-Mobile and [laughs] or what- whatever arena, he called them up and found out were they available.

Um, so I'm loving the back and forth between Eddie and Dana, but Dana came out guns blazing against the WBC, and now you will see in this clip that Dana is instructing both men to take a picture and do the face off again with the WBC and Mauricio Sulaiman.

And he goes as far as saying, "With the WBC and Mauricio." [laughs] So good to see that boxing can help these men find a common ground, right? It seemed as if Zuffa, as an entity, didn't want to deal with sanctioning bodies, but it seemed more that they had a personal issue with the WBC.

That is no longer an issue.

But it wasn't just Don King.

It was, uh, many-

It was only in question, it was only in question because of Zuffa and their stance, but they did the right thing and Dana is now like promoting Mauricio Sulaiman on stage with the WBC.

So was he up there for the McKellen and Apatiya fight with, uh, with his belt?

Yeah.

So obviously I think th- there's a big political question here, and I did speak to the head of the WBC this week, Mauricio Sulaiman, because Conor Benn's last fights were at middleweight against Chris Eubank, and now he's ranked number one by the WBC at welterweight, which is two divisions south, and he's got a title shot.

So, that's a big question itself.

And Mauricio basically said, you know, Conor had always told him he was gonna be going back down in weight after the Eubank fights, and so he was sort of keeping the spot warm for him.

Y- y- well, it is...

I mean, Benavidez is the carrot, isn't he? So you know, if, if I was Mauricio Sulaiman, obviously I'm not, but if I was, I'd be going to Turkey or someone like that and saying, "Okay.

Play it down the line.

We're not gonna let him fight for that W- BC belt.
