Maurice Hilleman

So here's how I would answer that question.

I was fortunate enough to know a guy named Dr. Maurice Hilleman, who in many ways was the father of modern vaccines.

He did either the primary research or development of nine of the 14 vaccines we currently give to children.

He worked at Merck for most of his life.

I, I, I, I mean, it's awkward to say on this podcast, but I think my relationship with you and Carlos Barbas in the early '90s when human antibodies were just becoming possible, the fact that we all came together and had this dream that we could, th- that we could obtain human monoclonal antibodies and turn them into something for good, I remember that was so heady, just the fact that we could get them.

And I distinctly remember Chanock had, he and his friends, sometimes Maurice Hilleman an- and, you know, a lot of the people from the '50s of the vaccine world had a Cold Spring Harbor meeting on vaccines, and it, it was kind of their club, but they would invite all the people doing important stuff in the field.

And I remember we showed up with Fab's for RSV that we'd done together, and, uh, I remember someone in the audience said, "That will never work.

Everyone knows Fab's will not inhibit a virus." And yet we had on the slide neutralizing activity and protection of a mouse.

I could have just walked right on to the property of a biosecurity level four lab.

This is run by Fauci's mentor back in the day, Maurice Hilleman.

And I could have just walked onto the property had I wanted to be retard maxing in a non-retard maxing way.

And I chose obviously not to walk on the property, but I took pictures and I basically wrote a post um that said what's going on here because i suspect anything dangerous has already been removed from the rocky mountain lab i also suspect if something were to be claimed to have gotten out let's say billionaires might want to come to montana to their fallback position what better way to control the movement of people and to scare everyone else from coming to montana or even thinking about montana than to have a biosecurity level 4 lab um have some kind of release and you know montana is very very isolated in a lot of ways um we have about a million people in a state that is huge and we have billionaires all over the place and so those are the pieces of information i feel very privileged and blessed to come across because i think i can put it in a narrative context that is going to be usable for whatever future event is coming because something is coming missoula in montana generally has a very good position for a lot of the data center dynamics you know cold weather water electricity and surplus um and i really think it's important for people to start thinking about if the information communication networks go dark you know just like the movie uh leave the world behind if something like that plays out people have to be prepared be prepared to talk to humans in their own community.
