Maureen Reagan

The first person reported to have actually seen Lincoln's spirit was First Lady Grace Coolidge, who said she saw the ghost of Lincoln standing at a window in the yellow oval room, staring out at the Potomac.

Theodore Roosevelt and Maureen Reagan and her husband have all claimed to have seen a spectral Lincoln in the White House.

Maureen had bumped into Lincoln's spirit upon waking one morning in the Lincoln bedroom.

Her father, President Reagan, reported that she awoke to a figure standing at the window looking out.

She was a, she was a great actress, but she also seemed like a fun lady to hang around.

And, and her daughter, her daughter had a lot of her personality traits as well, Maureen.

Oh, Maureen Reagan.

Yeah.

Yes.

Yeah.

Yes.

She wrote a great-- Maureen wrote a great book.

And that was a lifelong source of pain to both of them.

And she did not really get along well with her husband's kids from his first marriage, Michael and Maureen Reagan.

But her priority was her husband and doing everything possible to further support Ronald Reagan's career.

And I think she was absolutely integral to that, not only because she was such a supportive and helpful partner, but because she also became a fairly shrewd political figure.

But the reason was because the vice president was there, so they had to have all the Secret Service.

But I also seen, at some of them, I seen people like, uh, Maureen Reagan, which is I believe President Reagan's daughter or something.

What, what did Pre- Vice President Bush hang around after the party was over?

There's also a very famous photo, um, of Larry King and Reagan's daughter.
