It was sort of interesting because when I think back at it, I didn't think of it as a comedy, but there were parts of it that just, because the character was so feral, it kind of led me in that direction.

So Maureen O'Hara was 18 years old when she was in that.

Yeah, she was 18 and Charles Lawton said, come on, Maureen, we're going to America and you're going to be Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

My review of it is Heinried is an Errol Flynn light in this swashbuckling adventure film that sees the beautiful Maureen O'Hara fall for the pirate that is just out for revenge on the dastardly Walter Slezak, who plays the most comical version of Douchebag ever.

The score and cinematography are excellent, while the action scenes are fun.
