David, I just posted in the chat a press release 21 hours ago.

So this is from a mattress firm.

And this is the headline.

This is what you need to do.

The best Black Friday mattress deals are here at Mattress Firm.

Brand name at the end.

But look at the best Black Friday mattress deals.

And this is ranking right there on page one.

So Hobby Lobby, Chick-fil-A, Ulta Beauty is in a new little shopping area right between those two.

It's also right beside Mattress Firm.

That center includes Ulta Beauty, Mattress Firm, and then Smoothie King.

mattress firm is already open smoothie king is not quite yet opening and that looks like that's kind of a drive-through right there on the side says the sign on the building says that it's coming soon also took a peek at the chick-fil-a to see how that's coming along that is a complete rework of their drive-through which let's face it they really needed it excited to see those changes but hopefully that chick-fil-a location is going to be back open before christmas We'll see if that happens.

They had a big hiring post on their Facebook page today for Chick-fil-A Russellville.

They're looking to hire a lot of new team members.

And instead of saying like, oh, I need to sleep more, like I have sleep debt and I need to catch up on my sleep, I can see which habits are actually Improving it and which ones are making it worse and really you can probably figure out what they are without an aura ring But again, I like the data and then beyond the aura ring This was actually a 2025 thing when I moved to chicago I got a really nice mattress and I have really nice pillows and really nice sheets and They make my sleep experience significantly better my bed is the most expensive thing in my apartment, granted.

Full transparency, it was gifted to me by Mattress Firm.

However, now that I know what is required and involved with getting fitted for a mattress and the impact it has on my sleep, I would buy an expensive mattress 10 times over, and I do intend to, whenever I have a house and I have like more beds to buy, I will not be buying mattresses in a box ever again.

I will only ever go get properly fitted for a mattress because what I thought I liked to sleep on versus what I actually like to sleep on, not the same thing.

The best baseball player of all time, arguably?

wife who was a lawyer working on the deals the first was mattress firm which was being acquired by the company steinholf international yan opened a brokerage account in his mother's name

very arguably yeah i would say well most people would say yeah he's like the first two-way player that's just fucking insane isn't his contract like a billion dollars

The first was Mattress Firm, which was being acquired by the company Steinholf International.

Yan opened a brokerage account in his mother's name and bought about 300 shares of Mattress Firm stock for around $31 a share.

Weeks later, when the acquisition was made public, the stock jumped 114%, netting Yan a $9,700 profit.

Later that- That's like not suspicious though! A year, Yan's wife's firm began drafting a merger agreement for Sibanyay Gold to take over Stillwater Mining.

So, Andrew, I cannot make this up.

In Miamisburg, Ohio, where Route 725 crosses 741, there's a BP gas station that had a mattress firm inside of it at one point.

Did it really? Not making this up.

It was there for a few years.

Yeah.

It's not there anymore, but they actually, Mattress Firm rented a space next to the gas station that was attached and put their Mattress Firm sign on it.

Gordon Hecht.
