I've said is there a gulf between Rupert Lowe and the rest of the party because it seems like there is sometimes and then I'm assured privately there isn't and these documents do come out but then it kind of feels like that so I think there's something in that criticism to me Lowe should hammer a few basic points about the difference between restore and reform he should say something like reform see you as completely interchangeable except for perhaps the Yusuf and sometimes Matt Goodwin but restore don't we actually care about you know the demographic security question he did mention it to be fair in that five-point video as an offer to Farage perhaps that should have been done in private as Farage claimed though then Farage would want Charlie Downs gone which is basically saying you just want restored to be reformed so back on the containment yeah so there was no compromise there but so although Rupert does mention these terms he sort of slipped that in somebody even told me he didn't mention demographic security because he kind of just slipped it into the it's quite it's mentioned in passing but it is there in the video so the problem is people aren't going to read these long documents so they don't actually know what the party said um so he says more concerningly this no longer feels entirely organic there appears to be some agency within the party's organizational heart that is deliberately or otherwise aiding and abetting what I can only describe as slow-motion hijacking of Restored Britain by the hard right.

So that's his view on that.

He says, if the leadership will not define Restored Britain, others will.

So it's all very, very ridiculous, but it's also not an isolated incident because when Hannah Spencer, who is the Green MP for Gordon and Denton, who also won a by-election in February when she had campaign materials, In other languages, she was criticised by a range of politicians.

So Matt Goodwin, who was competing against her from the Reform Party, who you may remember is famous for saying that women need to get a reality check about their biological clock.

so it did fly under my radar until you brought it up like why do you think we should be talking about this given the media hasn't covered it very much

I find this really, really interesting, this idea that trying to target specific groups is branded a sectarian and that if people from a particular ethnic group or a particular religious group care about particular issues, that some of those are read as sectarian.
