I've got a little exercise that I'd love you to do.

I'd love you to turn to Matthew 4:1-11, and I'm gonna give you this little exercise to do just with a friend.

Um, by the way, if you talked to someone before and you were listening to their week and you thought, "This person I'm working with doesn't sound particularly wise," turn the other way.

So what we're gonna do, I'm, I'm gonna read Matthew 4:1-11.

It's a very well-known passage.

In, uh, I'm not gonna take the time.

It's Matthew 4:1-11.

And I wanna show you how the devil operates.

In verse two it says, "And after 40 days and 40 nights of fasting and prayer, Jesus was hungry." Well, who wouldn't be? You know, that's, that's what I used to think.
