But what was that training like for you? What does that entail? What does that look like? What is the point of that? What are you studying? What are you looking for? What is that field in general?

I'm a phytochemist.

And so this is my background.

I did the PhD and many years of postdocs.

What I was doing was measuring what is called secondary metabolites from plants.

I was measuring through analytical techniques, chromatographic techniques, NMR and to identify the compounds in plants and to measuring them, their amounts.

When someone comes, again from your experience, when people come to Takiwasi, how are they being worked with? What is the worldview of Takiwasi on how you go about working with someone as an individual?
