Matt Underwood

Okay.

The one, the only, Matt Underwood.

And, and Matt, you gotta be having a blast.

Absolutely.

We don't see what, what goes on behind the scenes, you know, chase the water, having to step away a few games here and a few games there, you know, Bazana going through those struggles at the plate and now starting to hit pretty well.

Parker's been good all year, but then you have a, you know, a game like last night where it's not a bad pitching outing, but it's one you're going against a team that I think Matt Underwood said it on the broadcast.

You know, he went against Boston before and they had a really good approach against him.

He wanted to get some get back.

Yeah,

we're going to try to have on the play-by-play men for the Guardians, Matt Underwood, next week when this gets right down to the nitty-gritty here.

Well, and I'll tell you what.

I still have an issue with the Guardians in terms of just, I get the name wrong all the time.

for Petey Halpin.

What a swing! Matt Underwood had the call on Guardians TV.

Petey Halpin's three-run shot came in the sixth, and it proved to be the difference.

The Guardians beat the White Sox yesterday.

The Guardians walk it off.

Matt was more surprised than I. I was, I was just like, "Oh, it looked like a can of corn." You know what a can of corn is.

Easy fly ball.

Yeah.

...

they had no chance to get the guy at the plate.

But just listen to Matt.

Matt's telling you Matt is smart.

Bazana bashes a two-out, three-run homer, and the Guardians have erupted for four in the second inning and now lead it five to nothing.

Travis Bazana, the number one overall pick in the 2024 draft, hits his 11th of the year, part of a four-run second off O's starter Brandon Young.

And despite an Orioles comeback, the Birds dropped the seventh in their last eight last night 9-5, the final to the Guardians at Camden Yards.

He'll wave goodbye.
