Now they got some guy, I think, Rick Ferreira or something like that.

uh well i had seen guns and roses i'm using in air quotes which is just axel and his his cast of merry men but this is the first time that slash and duff and axel were back together in years upon years upon years i would have been way too young to see them initially at like eastern creek and when you

saw just axel was matt sorum in the band

The only OG members would have been Dizzy Reed on the keyboards and Axl on the

vocals.

Of course, we don't want the emails coming in because you are acknowledging that Steven Adler was the OG.

We're just talking about Matt Sorum as the next guy up.

Matt Sorum says the Cult was his favorite band to play in.

It was right in my lane as far as how I approached the drum kit.

And I have to agree there because I do love the Cult, but I've never went, wow, what great drumming on that song.

You know, I never think drumming when I think of the Cult.

And I never think of Matt Sorum when I think of drummers.

I never think of good music when I think about the Cult.

You don't like the cult?

Yep.

Matt Sorum went through the same thing, where he put out this book and Matt Sorum was like, "What?"

What?

Like, he's shocked.

They were looking to do a 50th anniversary book, kind of a coffee table style thing.

Um, and, and when I walked in, um, you know, I think the f- first people I saw were, like, Matt Sorum from, from Guns N' Roses and, and the, the Cult and, um, you know, the stories and the way that they immediately talked about it of just, like, "Here's what you need to know," um, made me realize that this wasn't just, like, we're gonna tell stories about, like, partying and getting laid.

Um, there, there was this sense of community.

It was a sense of like, oh no, if you're here, um, you're, like, part of a club kind of thing where, like, [laughs] you're, you're almost kind of cool enough to be invited in and, and stay here and, uh, gather with these people and kind of exchange ideas.
