Shasta County Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis is facing more pushback over claims that some ballots from the June primary were suspect and warranted a federal investigation.

County Supervisor Matt Plummer took to social media this week saying those concerns don't line up with Curtis's decision to certify the election.

If this were to have happened, it would have been natural for Clint Curtis to either refuse to certify the election, which is his duty, or to at least bring this up when bringing the certification before the board.

Plummer also rejected Curtis's claims that the county blocked him from viewing elections office video and prevented outside agencies from investigating.
