Two days after the governor directed regulators to investigate NIPSCO, a group of state representatives is asking the legislature to open its own review, this time with public hearings inside the communities the storm hit hardest.

Eight Indiana House Democrats, including reps Carolyn Jackson, Earl Harris Jr., Reagan Hatcher, Randy Novak, Chuck Mosley, Mike Andrade, Vernon Smith, and Matt Pierce sent a letter to the Legislative Council's Personnel Subcommittee asking it to assign the House Energy, Utilities, and Telecommunications Interim Study Committee to examine NIPSCO's response to the Augur 11 storm and the outages that followed.

The request made two days after Gov. Mike Braun directed the Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor to petition the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission for its own investigation.

Opens a second legislative track running alongside the regulatory one already underway at the IURC.

Well, I've thought quite deeply about this one.

There is an absolutely, and this is Matt Pierce going out on the line here, there's absolutely a strong case to be made for playing Andre Pollard.

You know, if you're backing your pack in the first test of a four-test series to dominate – To dominate the set piece, assuming that you're going to get set piece, that's the other big unknown.

Some test matches are like you get your first scrum in the 25th minute if you're lucky.

And then a week later, 11 changes in the Springbok starting lineup and 43-10.

So what he does have at his disposal is this ability to interchange personnel and play different styles.

And I do think there's a case to be made if it was Matt Pierce, but of course it's not making the selection.

It would be, you know, really hard attritional test match rugby, 50 minutes, kick your goals, play for territory.

The one thing that Russie does have in his favor, as we saw, dare I say it, okay, let's give credit for Eden Park, boys.
