And so, um, yeah, everything from having the timekeepers there, the witnesses there throughout.

And, uh, little things also, like the, the stopwatches we had to use, um, they had to stay on camera the entire time.

So the second they hit start, they had to be put on the treadmill, never leave the camera frame, um, up un- up until the end.

Like, they just fall apart." And so that's been a huge thing for me this year, and-

But I guess looking at the landscape in general, do you think that starting a newsletter or a media business today in 2026 is still a good opportunity?

If you just want to strictly start a newsletter business, no.

If you want to start a media business, yes.

So like the world we're going to be in in a couple of years is that software is a commodity.

Anybody can go build software with, you know, cloud code or name your tool.

So like what the thing does is like going to be commoditized.

What won't be commoditized is distribution.

Where do you see that going in the next two or three years? Do you think it's going to become a replacement for email, an addition to email, some sort of mix? What are we thinking there?

But how's the mayoral shakeout?

Definitely have a horse in a race in that, like, I'm running Christine's social media stuff.

But, I mean, if you look at what the first vote was, Christine was – nine point nine points ahead of jamie or yeah nine points so that's that's quite the hurdle to overcome and then if you look at like where people in town vote it tends to be on the edges and those voters are you know just going to vote at a higher rate for christine than jamie so like you know however the runoff like it's run independently like going into it the numbers have you know appear to heavily favor christine jake

One called me out on my

politics group that has gone off the deep end.

But, uh, I posted on one of Pat powers, um, blog post and it's like you know are we gonna ever figure out where toby doden actually got his money because like this is the you know the rumor is that he got a ppp loan and instead of paying his employees payroll like you're supposed to he bought crypto with it and like that's the story that's out there right and it's like we we should know if this is true or not and then somebody posts screenshotted me posted it and called me out for like why are you questioning this man's wealth and it's like because he's trying to be our governor like we we should know

You don't want to mess around with text deliverability.

You know, anybody that listens to us, you know, they're probably doing an opt-in based list, which is much cleaner.

And, you know, if you had a secondary confirmation where they have to like text start to your number or like click on a link that you send them, that cleans up a lot of the noise.

Like there are some people in kind of financial publishing that will, you know, have an opt-in form, but they won't confirm the phone number.

And like it's kind of asking to get sued.

And tell us what confirming the phone number means to you.
