So in the absence of being able to control more than just yourself, what would you recommend to people who maybe it's not just their kids, maybe it's friends? What can you do when it goes beyond you locking your own digital footprint down?

So don't allow anybody to tag you.

That's the first one.

The second is when you see some behavior that you think might be problematic for you or for them, just tell them.

There's been several times where I've had to say, hey, do you mind deleting that, taking that down? You know, that kind of thing.

Most people understand.

They're also not really understanding of what the threat is.

Yeah.

And I'm wondering, can you share with me something that didn't go as planned and how you recovered from that?

Absolutely.

Yeah.

So I started a home flipping business three years ago.

And I thought, oh, this will be fun.

This will be something new.

I'll have the agents that are out there looking at properties.

Now, when we talk about, you know, building a band, right? I mean, finding people in your business to work for you, whether it be partners or whether it be subcontractors or employees, is there sort of a process that you go through to make sure you're finding the right people?

What do I want a Friday in April in twenty twenty seven to look like? And how do I say no to everything that isn't that?

Yeah, I call it ROT, return on time.

And I think the absolute highest return on time is thinking and planning about what you want.

So I do a lot of it.

It's a big practice.

I journal every single morning.

I review the week every Sunday.

What advice would you give them?

He'd walk right in, pretending to be a customer.

So I created an account, and then I emailed him, and I basically said, "Hey, uh, I'm trying to buy some Social Security numbers, and I'm using it for tax return fraud.

Can you confirm if I buy this, you're not gonna sell it to anybody else? Because if I'm gonna buy your Social Security number and file a fraudulent tax return, the IRS considers the first filer the legitimate filer."

So Matt came up with a ruse.

We arranged for a, a cooperating defendant who lived overseas, who was a pretty well-known fraudster, to reach out to Hieu and basically say, "Hey, I know who you are.

You've been making way too much money off of your website.

I'm shutting you down.

If you wanna c- get in business, you're gonna have to come through me."
