Um, as you're trying to upscale, uh, your, uh, user base and, uh, to target those more of the bigger end level of customers, enterprise level customers, uh, how does that shift the way that you build your product features, also acquire feedback or talk to your users, and also run the team? It's a very long question but, um, first off, uh, with about, about building your product, uh, how has that changed you by becoming more enterprise-oriented?
47:38
Yeah.
47:38
I mean, a- and this is where coming back to PLG that it can be a, kind of a tricky dance.
47:43
Because, uh, if you look at something like, uh, Salesforce, um, it has gotten more user-friendly over time, but for a long period, and still to th- to, to this day largely, it's not the most loved piece of software.
47:58
I mean, by end users.
47:59
[laughs] Like, it's, it's a little bit clunky in places.

Most people, they're just trying to keep their head above water.
1:32
Like, you go into your job, you're getting a deluge of emails or requests, and you're just trying to not drown.
1:37
I think managing your time effectively takes some intentionality.
1:40
When you're drowning or when you feel like you're not getting enough time or when you're way too busy, that intentionality can feel like a luxury.
1:46
I'm just trying to keep my head above the water.
1:47
Like, the last thing I wanna do is step back and, like, look at my schedule and do an audit of how I'm spending my time.

As you think about what product you're putting to market and who it serves, whether it's an end user or whether it's a specific executive, you better go build a relationship with who buys that software and really understands what keeps them up at night, what gets in their way, but also how do they work? How do they spend their time during the week? What conferences do they go to? What gets them fired? What gets them promoted? I mean, if you can understand that deeply, you're gonna have better odds of success, not only because you can build a better product.

Sometimes we land in five people companies.
2:01
We land in a company that might be five hundred, a thousand, ten thousand, and Clockwise starts to grow inside that company, and it allowed us to mature into places where like Uber, Netflix, Pinterest, Instacart, where we have these large deploys that are powering a huge component of their organization.
