you know, I just envision, I don't know if you're a big UFC fan, but I have been for a while.

And I just remember George St. Pierre going into the Octagon and talking to Matt Hughes and like, I was not impressed with your performance.

That's what I felt like the defense was saying after the game is we, we were not impressed with our own performance.

Like, yes, zero points on the scoreboard, but really we should have given up nine points because we let them in the field goal range.

It's a little bit puzzling from the UFC in that, you know, I think the biggest knock on the promotion the last number of years, it's like they just don't have any stars anymore.

Like back in the day, you know, they had their Georges St-Pierres, and their Ronda Rouseys, and their Jon Jones, and their Khabib Nurmagomedovs, and you know, before that, you know, T. Ortiz, and Chuck Liddell, and Matt Hughes.

Anyways, they just, they've always had these run of stars that they could really sell with, and then in the last five years, it's like now that some of the aging guys have been retiring, it's like they just don't really have anybody to replace them with.

So what they need is they need these guys that are gonna come in and play a character.

But, you know, he played it very safe and, uh, you know, I would argue every equally as boring fights as MVP, but he was a champion who was dominating.

And, and, um, you know, and, and there are times he did go for it, I guess, right? Like, I mean, you know, uh, the, you know, well, against Matt Hughes, right? Like, he, he did the arm bars, you know what I mean? Like, he, he did work his way up there.

He went for it on his way up there, and then played it more safe once he got up to the top.
