jordoba atlantis did not uh sink but it broke up into several islands and stuff between them sank but um the uh so yeah that's that's one of the things i mean what jordoba is based on um because it's a living world it's not really uh very good for a single elevator pitch um but the the idea is it's based on comic books swords and sorcery um And it is sort of more, and for that reason, it's got more of a Bronze Age, Iron Age feel to it, um, than a regular medieval thing.
19:04
Although it's, it's at a medieval level of technology.

I mean, there's steel, there's spirits.

I'm not trying to create a Bronze Age, you know, simulation game.
19:13
This is not what D&D would look like if it was in the Bronze Age.
19:17
It's just, this is got more of a, the, the cultures are more Bronze Age.

9:36
We're, yes, we're talking about AD&D First Edition.
9:38
All the other retro clones come after that one.
9:41
Um, and at the same time, now, uh, so also Castles & Crusades is, is out, and that's one that's the, a more streamlined thing, and it's not...
9:49
It's the way that people played back in the day, which there are now many of those that have, have copied Castles & Crusades in the, the way we played back in the day.
9:55
Um, so that was out, and also at the same time, Chris Konermann is working on Basic Fantasy Role-Playing Game because he's spotted something different than the preservationist thing.
10:03
What h- he's got is that they've got an open license so that third-party publishers can do stuff for Third Edition, but there is nothing similar in the OSR.
14:03
Of course.
