So they're retooling, I would say, because there's still a lot of the same names here, and a lot of them are younger.

You have kind of the younger core of like a Coronado, maybe Zari, and then some interesting names on defense.

So Zane Parekh is still there, but they also went out and traded for Simone Nemech from the New Jersey Devils.

gave him a nice new contract five years 7.25 i'm curious about calgary because yes so they subtracted some veteran names but they also have some younger players that you could talk yourself into taking a step forward maybe becoming a little bit more of an offensive presence and then just defensively bringing in Nemech, a year of hopefully full health and consistent play from Parekh, those two could be a phenomenal duo in the long term for Calgary.

So I think you at least get some positive regression there.

I fully agree with your – I think the big thing that you would highlight is they don't – I don't see a necessarily true first line.

Like there's a few players on a good team that might be on a first line, but ideally a Matt Coronado is either your first or ideally maybe your second line, like second option winger.

Huberto is not at a top line level anymore.

I mean, be- between the, the prospect pool when Craig Conroy took over as GM, between that being pretty much empty.

Outside of that, like, there really wasn't much coming up in the system.

You had all these unhappy veterans.

So I think it's, it's great for the Flames a- and their fans having this guy in charge of your team.

Well, the, so the Flames got two guys signed to pretty long-term contracts in Coronato and Wolt, which kinda changed that narrative.
