When media day was last Monday on September 28th, training camp opened right after that.

We saw the first scrimmage over the weekend where hearing Matt Cord, the like Ballyhooed PA announcer introduced LeBron James and Jalen Brown as 76ers was just a little mind boggling.

And then you and I were sitting next to each other at the scrimmage, like watching them, you know, play at not necessarily full speed, but close to full speed and just looking at all these guys on the floor together.

And it was a little just like, wow, actually seeing it come together.

What have been your kind of first impressions just of, what the hubbub surrounding this team is going to be and just what it's going to be like to sort of be in the thick of this all day to day.

Yeah, I think similar to you.

I don't think it really, even after spending a week of talking to them and being there at Media Day and seeing everybody in their uniforms for the first time, I don't think it really hit me until Saturday afternoon when they were actually all, that projected starting five was all on the floor together at the same time with the crowd, with Matt Cord, with all of it.

It's like, oh yeah, this is happening and it's going to start happening soon.

That and introduction on Thursday, October 22nd.

When Matt Cord, the first time he says, from St. Vincent, St. Mary's.

He's played f- he's played for a long-ass time, and that, uh, the c- the, sort of I keep saying it or I keep thinking about it, but, like, the combining of eras.

Even when we talked to Pat Croce, like, Matt Cord from that era to Matt Cord now, like, one of your s- I think there's just, I'm appreciating the sense of history that, that all parts of this sort of had, obviously Joel being the main one that we're thinking about.

But all the parts of different eras of Sixers basketball, of NBA basketball, of all the stuff that we are now trying to coalesce into can this fucking work? Can they finally fucking do it?
