Well, I guess light in general, like light, light in general is a dominant biblical image.

I just think because very few things grow in the dark, and so just in life, right? Very few things grow in the dark, and very few good things, I should say.

Um, when you, when you think about the light of the world, the, the God that came to us, that became man to be that light for us, to show us, it, it-- I, I just see...

So, all right, let me back up.

If I'm standing there way back when Christ was around, you know, and I'm in the crowd, and I, I feel like if I didn't know who he was and I'm off on the side of the street and there's crowds following this person, I'm gonna be able to pick him out.

Like, "Oh, that's him." Like, "That's the guy." You know? And I just feel like the radiance and the light that just surrounds him, you know? You know, there's just sometimes a-- This is gonna be a bad, a bad, uh, reference, but I'll, I'll throw it in here anyways.

As you think about, like, so you, you go to a, you're at a party or you're at church or you're at, um, wherever, and there's that one person that you're like, "Man, that c- that person's really cool.

Mm-hmm.

... again, goes back to one of our other conversations about surrendering.

You know, when you talk about, um, I depend on you, Lord, for all of this, well, you have to sometimes surrender.

Well, maybe I don't have what I need in this situation, but I have to depend on God that He's gonna, He's gonna hook me up with whatever I need, and that dependence really, it-- you have to stay focused.

You have to, uh, stay aware of what God is doing in your life, and that's hard for people.

But to me, that- that's where that really comes into the abide in the song, right? I'm dependent.

I'm so dependent that I can do nothing without Him.

I, I think that's, I love that imagery.
