Anyway, how are the submissions coming for the big experiment that we're running right now?
29:41
The submissions have been awesome.
29:43
Last week, I remember we were talking.
29:45
It was a little bit slower going.
29:47
Now people have really stepped up with them.
29:49
We're going to be posting them online shortly.
29:51
Some very cool ones.

tattoo the X logo
33:59
And that's kind of how we're hoping it all works out in Arkansas.
34:03
Yeah, I just don't...
34:05
You know, every coach will tell you, every coach that I'm around...
34:10
They'll tell you when we're sitting in there for our production meetings for Thursday nights.
34:14
They'll tell you when you're at a press conference.
34:16
Whatever the case may be, they'll say, we have to not commit self-inflicted turnovers or self-inflicted mistakes or self-inflicted distraction or any of that.
34:26
They don't like anything that you can create on your own that causes a distraction to the team.
37:12
seemingly journalistic integrity brought to the set every time was there ever any temptation or did you always see yourself in that role or did you ever want to go you know what to get attention that that's what's that's what's popular now i mean just tell me about your approach i guess a little bit if you would in this era that we live in
128:48
And these are guys you've been playing with for over 10 years, is that right?
128:52
Well, nearly sort of 20 years, I think.
128:56
Yeah, I mean, I've been playing with those fellas for a while, you know, and we're kind of always on the sort of coattails of jazzy ideas, you know, things that could be considered freeform and experimental, I suppose, is the best word to use.
129:14
I mean, I'm into psychedelic.
129:16
They are, but not as much as I am.
129:18
So, I mean, most of what I do instrumentally comes from, you know, the psychedelic.
129:27
Not so much these days.

You know, I think a lot of what you do, it doesn't sound retro or historical, but it sounds almost like what would have happened if production didn't get really shit eventually and people just kept making music and room together like this.
3:52
But when you walk on an SEC campus, I mean, what's, what's the feels like for you? I mean, what are the experiences you've had, maybe one in particular that you would tell us about?
4:01
So for me, I got my first taste of it in 2005 when I was doing my local TV journey.
4:08
Uh, I was in the market, uh, Columbia, South Carolina.
4:12
And it's like market 70 something, high 70s.
4:15
And my first season there was the first season that Steve Spurrier took over as head coach of South Carolina.
4:22
And so imagine a town that had been down on its football luck really in its history to get a guy, Steve Spurrier, came back from the NFL, a guy that built Florida into a national power, and these people were just craving for a winner.
4:40
And so we were a CBS affiliate.

10 MINS LATER

14:22
So how long should these programs give these coaches to kind of get things going in the right direction?
