And he came in with, uh, a, a very, um, um, tried and true philosophy, which is what the 49ers did with John McVay and Bill Walsh, which is the, um, the scouting staff is there to, um, pick guys that the, the coaching staff wants.

You work hand-in-hand with the coaching staff.

Bill Walsh is a genius.

He knows what he wants.

I think that John Lynch had a similar view about Kyle Shanahan.And so you, you do that, and I think that's the right way to go about it.

But at some point you need to have the wherewithal to talk your guy, this genius coach, off of players that he falls in love with.

He can be fun, but it's just there's always something about him that's, like, tight.
