What Claire has built from that traumatic experience and since become is nothing short of remarkable.

Claire wrote and produced the concept album Matrescence.

She's co-produced the world's first Matrescence festival in the UK and had a sold-out Melbourne festival last year.

And Claire's new documentary, Matrescence, The Hidden World of Motherhood, will be out this November.

Now, that documentary took Claire from a settlement in Nairobi to the corporate towers of New York and all around the world, chasing a single and fundamental question – why the psychological rupture that she felt when she became a mother was never named, never explained, and for something two billion people have lived through, never even thought worth studying.
