MathFest

What I think is interesting, though, is that I've spoken to a bunch of people about large classes recently.

And I had a conversation at a dinner at MathFest with a colleague who was actually a biologist who came to sit with us, Katie Mattaney.

And at least in math, It doesn't, I don't see as a math professor how I could do really good multiple choice checks in some of these topics.

I really want this.

But I do wanna go back to what you said about PLC light and grading reform light.

We were just at MathFest.

We had eight and a half hours of contributed paper talks, and one of the things that came out that really does bother me is people who wanna dip their toe into grading reform will often do something like they'll pick one section of their course and be, "I'm gonna do that using the four pillars.

So I'm going to s- pick my mastery quizzes, and so I'm gonna do that.
