Right.

I started to volunteer and sing in the music and healing arts program at VCU Massey Cancer Center where she was.

Anna and Nova Shark Cancer Institute because music is healing.

So I had to find a way for me to utilize my gifts to heal myself while while healing others at the same time.

And so just ways that, you know, we see that we can help one another, we try to include them where we can.

Also, as you touched on about the cancer cases bringing us together, we started the Chickahominy, the Truth Project, which we might talk about later on, but we started a partnership with Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, and it was a two-year project where we worked on seeing if there were environmental factors that were contributing to the increased amount of cancer cases in Charles City County.

We worked on that, and now that grant has expanded so that we can include all 11 tribes in the Commonwealth.

And that, to me, makes me feel real good because it was a great project, but to be able to offer it to all 11 tribes so that they're now getting those resources, they're also getting the education, they're also getting the benefits of the programs from Massey.

Do you want to talk a little bit more about what that has meant or maybe something that you didn't have the chance to mention earlier?

Absolutely.

One thing that I can say is the partnership with Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center has been awesome.

At the time of the Truth Project, they were under the leadership of Dr. Robert Wynn.
