Full year production and shipment guidance maintained for both alumina and aluminum.

Alcoa's CEO, Bill Oplinger, telling me on CNBC's Overtime show yesterday that the company has reached a definitive agreement to sell a portion of its shuttered smelter site in Massena, New York to developers who are going to convert this into an AI data center.

They've got similar deals elsewhere in the pipeline, and I asked him about these conversions, and I also asked about the demand overall for aluminum in the AI infrastructure build-out

build-outFirst of all, we have, uh, 10 sites around the world that we're looking at, uh, redeveloping and selling into the data center market.

We're executing on our strategy in that we're progressing the, the large transaction, uh, that we expect to close in the first half of next year.

And on top of all that, we announced that we sold our first closed site for data center development up in Massena East.

So it was a really good quarter, and you can see we delivered the earnings.

Uh, and, uh, in the, in the results you'll see strong cost control and, uh, and really strong production.

And, uh, what's gonna, what you're gonna see is in the cities, the animals are gonna go there.

We see that now in Massena.

Sometimes right in town you see a deer standing there.

Um, they've lost their sense of, uh, uh, where they should be.
