Massachusetts Route 107

So they began making phone calls and reporting Joan missing in both Massachusetts and New Jersey.

Then, on December 2nd, a man in Saugus found Joan's wallet in a marsh beside Route 107.

Detectives are often working several leads at once.

So while that's happening, police also focused on Route 107 near the Saugus Marsh.

Specifically, several witnesses reported seeing a 10-year-old light-colored Chevrolet with substantial rust on it near Route 107 around 3 a.m., That would be about four and a half hours after Joan's flight arrived, so they were trying to track down that lead.
