Mass Effect Legendary Edition

I think if you remove the ending portion of the conversation from Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect 3 is a phenomenal game overall.

until you play the ending the ending kind of like soured the whole thing and thankfully many of you have probably experienced legendary edition which is the far superior version of mass effect right you get all the best ending stuff you get a revamp mass effect one two and three with better visuals it is the definitive way to play through that experience now I've played through it on the 360.

When they did the upscaling thing on the Xbox One, I played it through on Xbox One.

I played part of Legendary Edition.

I didn't finish the trilogy of Legendary Edition because I played through the series.

Like, geez, I don't know.

The first one I played 40 times.

Like, I don't know.

But for it to monkeypaw into Mass Effect...

And granted, Mass Effect, outside of the Legendary Edition, their last title was Andromeda.

And that speaks for itself.

So there was no guarantee that this new Mass Effect was going to be great.

both underperformed, and so then Mass Effect, meanwhile, has seen mixed success.

Mass Effect Andromeda is widely considered a disappointment among fans, though the series' more recent Legendary Edition remaster was well-received.

And Bioware had spent the past half decade teasing the next Mass Effect setting and story.

However, no more of that.

I still wish they were around.

But Mass Effect Legendary Edition is excellent.

That remaster was fantastic.

It also beat EA's expectations significantly.

I might lose my gamer card for this, but my first Mass Effect game was Andromeda on the Xbox One.

And I remember playing it thinking like... like this is fine like everyone was clouding it at the time because like the facial animations and like all the readiness and stuff but I remember playing through the whole game and being like yeah this is like this is an okay game like especially from a gameplay perspective and like all the abilities and stuff at the time like all of that was really cool Of course, I go on to play the original trilogy in the Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

And I was like, oh, okay, yeah, from a writing perspective, this clears Andromeda.

So I could see why people are saying that.

The games themselves were fantastic.

And when they released the Legendary Edition, which had all the DLC bits added in, all of that, and it added so many layers.

I remember we talked about this at Shifty Craps.

Like, I played through that and was just so hooked and remembered how much I love that trilogy of games.
