And if you're looking for it, it's on our Steam library because I've got the one that Steam did where they've got them all together and slightly remastered.
RobHOST
21:26
But I really liked Mass Effect Andromeda, which was like a newer one they did.
RobHOST
21:30
And it got really canned by everyone because it was full of glitches and stuff.
TomHOST
21:34
right okay but
CorwinHOST
12:00
anthem kind of crashed and burned that was them right
SteveHOST
12:03
Yeah, Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda.
SteveHOST
12:06
What was the latest Dragon Age game that just came out? The Veil Guard?
CorwinHOST
12:10
Veil Guard, yeah, which people were very disappointed in.
Charles HarteHOST
5:58
yeah we went to archetype entertainment um this is a this is their debut game exodus and it's a studio that's founded by a lot of veterans of other triple a developers um they have a lot of posters in there of like games their team has worked on and then also stuff that inspired them so like uh there's a lot of star wars merch in there there's a big yoda uh figure uh because chad robertson who's one of the co-founders he was he worked on star wars the old republic for a while at bioware um And a lot of the heads there are ex-Bioware specifically.
Charles HarteHOST
6:32
Chris King, he worked on Mass Effect Andromeda, but he also before that was at Halo Studios, and he was working on the Saints Row games before that.
Charles HarteHOST
6:43
And then we got Drew Karpyshyn, who was there, who was like a lead writer on Mass Effect 1 and 2, I believe was his title.
Charles HarteHOST
6:50
Eric is nodding.

Grenades worked off an ammunition system, while powers were strictly cooldown-based.
Jon ClarkeNARRATOR
4:21
In Anthem slash Mass Effect Andromeda style, you could also combo moves together for extra damage.
Jon ClarkeNARRATOR
4:27
Movement overall was pretty basic, with an emphasis on using cover and just dodging enemy attacks.
Jon ClarkeNARRATOR

In the final fight, I took on a giant Awoken bear.
Woolie MaddenHOST

[laughs]
Pat BoivinHOST
30:19
Th- this was also a Mass Effect Andromeda.
Pat BoivinHOST
30:21
This is exactly what happened-
Woolie MaddenHOST
30:22
Mm
Pat BoivinHOST
30:22
... with Mass Effect Andromeda, where the people running that game had, had explicit no interference from EA at all, and ran that game into the ground.
Pat BoivinHOST
30:31
And that also happened with Anthem.
Pat BoivinHOST
30:34
Where the, the, the Patrick Soderlund played Anthem and was like, "The flying's really cool, but the rest is, uh..." And, like, the flying was supposed to be, like, the tutorial only.
TerrenceHOST
11:24
No.
TerrenceHOST
11:24
I mean, it even feels... like i mean it's not necessarily tacked on but i guess i guess it does feel good because like yeah you know you load in and you run around but that's literally all you do like you run around to a flashing point you press a and have a conversation you run up to another point and then bam now i'm in a fight like it's it really doesn't necessarily add anything and i don't know if you've noticed this because i don't know if you played it but the run and walk animation for your character is very reminiscent of the launch of Mass Effect Andromeda.
TerrenceHOST
12:01
When your character would run around, it's like bow-legged.
AnthonyHOST
12:04
Yes! That's how they move! And I'm like, what are we doing? It's
Eric Van AllenHOST

Um-
Charles HarteHOST
6:07
Um-Chris King, uh, he worked on Mass Effect Andromeda, but he also before that was at, uh, Halo Studios.
Charles HarteHOST
6:15
Um, and he was working on, uh, the Saints Row games before that.
Charles HarteHOST
6:19
Um, and then we got Drew Karpyshyn who was there, who, uh, was like a lead writer on Mass Effect One and Two, I believe was his title.
TrueGUEST
47:02
Yes, you don't want to tell me anything about that?
IconsGUEST
47:06
Andromeda.
IconsGUEST
47:08
We don't talk about that.
BrandonHOST
47:10
Andromeda wasn't as bad as what people think.
BrandonHOST
47:12
Well, they fixed it a lot of fixed it now.
BrandonHOST
47:17
Andromeda was better than Veilguard.
StevenHOST
47:19
Freak.
StevenHOST
47:23
I don't know.
Jamie SummersHOST
8:01
I haven't played Dead by Daylight because I've been sick all week.
Jamie SummersHOST
8:04
I've played a lot of Peglin instead, and I played some Pallia, and I played some Mass Effect Andromeda, but I was too sick to even look at Dead by Daylight.
Jamie SummersHOST
8:12
I did log in and play with cosmetics, though, and recorded just my waiting lobby for the background animation for something.
Jamie SummersHOST
8:22
But that's the extent I touched Deborah, and honestly, it was nice stepping away from her.
