Marys Peak

I went to Alsea Falls.

That's an area that's a little further out in the Willamette Valley when you're heading toward Mary's Peak and that area.

So I went over there in the afternoon and tried to take some photographs while there's still quite a bit of light out just to get some work in trying to get those washed waterfall photos, you know, kind of watching the water sort of drape over the hill or over the land that it's on and then fall down and kind of crash.

And it's that really cool kind of washed look.

Do you remember that first time when you officially said, "Okay, we're going bird watching," and that, that first time where that was the goal, to go bird watching together? Or did that really evolve even slower than that?

I, I feel like slower than that, but, like, I remember the, the, the first memory, the, the earliest I can remember is when we went to Marys Peak, and it was, like, snowy.

Oh, yeah.

Like, it was, it was, like, kinda snowy, and I don't know w- I don't know what, what we were looking for out there, but we were, like, hiking up.

We had one pair of binoculars at that time.

Okay.

Uh, we were, we were hiking Marys Peak, which is just outside of Corvallis or, yeah, yeah, outside of Corvallis.

Yeah.

Uh, before this date, when's the last time you were out in that area at all?

I went to Mary's Peak in November Like the a- the actual summit, you know, at-

This last November?

Yes, sir.

Um, last time I was in Alsea would've been actually in Alsea.

Well, nothing here in that area.

Uh, the last time I was in that area was Mary's Peak in November.
