Uh, Judge Rochon, who you and I know from the Southern District of New York, she had been a, just to give her a little bit of a background, not only the general counsel for the Girl Scouts of America, but she also was a law clerk 20 years ago for Donald Trump's sister, who some people forget was a federal law clerk in New Jersey, Maryanne, the late Maryanne Trump Barry.

Um, but she was appointed by Biden.

She got assigned the case about the ads.

And there's a, there's a little beautiful little twist in the story in that Judge Rochan in the Southern District of New York where I practice was not only nominated by Joe Biden, but back in her earlier days when she graduated law school, she clerked, law clerked for Donald Trump's sister, who was a federal judge, Maryanne Trump Barry in New Jersey.

Right, [laughs] a Trump, a Trump, uh, a Trump's sister clerked judge just entered a 14-day temporary restraining order.

Uh, it's gonna be a big week for temporary restraining orders, by the way.

You got Judge Rochan blocking the ads for 14 days, and on Tuesday, tomorrow, we're gonna get what I think is gonna be their preliminary injunction from Judge Kelly, a Trump-appointed judge, about Donald Trump trying to ban the press from the White House.

That's when she issued this order, and the clerk is requested to close the motion at docket 25, and then we'll, she'll reschedule pursuant to future, uh, steps, uh, later on.

Now Jennifer Rochon, as a judge, before she gets attacked by Donald Trump, had a very illustrious career in New York.

Besides clerking for Donald Trump's sister, she also was the general counsel for the Girl Scouts of America.

I had to speak to sureties who were signing, you know, bail bonds.

I had to speak to judges, um, juries, circuit courts of appeal panels.

And so I didn't have the luxury of just learning how to speak to one person or one type or one constituency, or only being powerful in writing or something like that.

I had to really be nimble and learn how to communicate at all levels and in all styles.
