Fast-forward to 1982, 20 years after the Adams haunting, the journalist Needlesheim returned to this house asking for any updates, and the occupant then said not much had happened, except every once in a while they would hear the sounds of plates crashing to the floor.

As more journalists uncovered the history of the house on Martin Street over the years, they discovered it actually had an even longer history going back to a woman named Mary Moody.

She grew up a few houses down from the haunted house, and in 1954, when she was 11 years old, she went inside.

It was a regular Sunday morning, and the first thing she noticed was that there was cake on the kitchen table, and it looked as if someone had scooped a fistful out of the middle.
