It's a technology that's coming at us fast and ensuring that there is a careful human hand in the process of deploying artificial intelligence is really, really vital.

One of your recent podcast episodes with Mary Gentile talked about giving voice to values.

And I think that's a nice way to think about how we ought to be deploying artificial intelligence.

It needs to be driven first by the values that we want to see in society.

I used to do these sessions where I would take ethical scenarios, and we would apply a framework to it, and then instead of talking about what the rule says and what the reporting obligation is and those kinds of things, We would be in a room, a pretty good-sized conference room, and we would approach it from the, here's the situation, what would you do, let's talk about it.

One of the ones that I remember vividly, especially when it comes to this, is, I went to a seminar about, Mary Gentile wrote a book called Giving Voice to Values.

When it first came out in 2010, she had a webinar and I went to it.

Back then, I was doing a lot of these critical conversations in the workplace.
